When I first moved to Kentucky, I thought, yeah, no more tornados, or at least not as many. Now almost 10 years after moving here from Texas, when someone says something about the weather, I say "Kentucky weather is just like Texas weather...just wait a minute it'll change." Best wishes to you and your family, school, and community. Let us know if there is anyway the rest of us can help.

I'm glad things are ok for you. It seems weird, but tornadoes seem to be occurring in Kentucky much more frequently than they used too...may it is just better weather detection and spotting....but growing up I hardly ever heard mention of tornadoes in Kentucky. While we've never had a confirmed one in Magoffin County, they do seem to be happening closer and closer. If one ever hit my little town, we would never recover from it! Take care.
